Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had an amazing christmas break. I took long naps and stuffed my face with really awesome homemade food! In Canada we have a holiday called boxing day which is the equivalent of America’s Black Friday. I bought a faux leather brown skirt from Club Monaco like the one in the bottom picture for $60.00 from an original price of $135.00. STEAL! ! !

I also saw the denim/army vest in the below picture on sale but they only had it in medium. Bohoo… It’s so nice.

I used to shop at H&M more during my college/university years but now going into full time – I can’t seem to wear the clothes from there anymore. The quality of the fabric and sewing of H&M’s clothes are poor. The fit sometimes is horrible and doesn’t last long. In the long run – even though its cheap now – you spend money buying things to replace because they fall apart so quickly. This can also be applied to clothes from Forever 21.

New Year Fashion Resolutions:

• Do not buy black clothing unless its a basic (tights/ t-shirt/ tank top)
• Don’t shop from “fast” clothing stores. (H&M, Forever 21…etc)
• Shop more vintage and join in reusing old clothes into new clothes instead of buying new clothes
• Donate clothes that I don’t wear anymore
• Create a clothes swap
