When is the right time to quit and start looking for another job?
I’ve been working for about 6 months now and I know the ropes of my job really well. So well that I do it so fast – I already know the fashion cycle pretty well to know what comes next. Sometimes I do work faster then my boss can find me work to do. This leaves me in an unflattering position where I am waiting to do something. My boss knows i’m just sitting there so I don’t get in trouble but when other people pass by my desk – it looks like I’m just fooling around doing nothing when I’m actually doing work ahead of schedule.
Most jobs in the next level look for at least 2 years experience. Should I stay put and try to learn more? Try to take that time to make connections? I’m in a dilemma. Please help!
